What is the difference between inverter power supply and UPS power supply?

What is the difference between inverter power supply and UPS power supply

1、 The inverter power supply is converted from DC (direct current) to AC (alternating current). The UPS power supply has three modes: bypass mode, mains mode and battery mode.

2、 Generally speaking, the inverter is just a simple converter without any impurities of filtered electricity. The device that converts direct current into alternating current is called inverter

3、 The bypass mode of UPS power supply is that the mains power is directly supplied without passing through the UPS host. The mains power mode is that the mains power passes through the rectifier of the machine, filters the impurities in the mains power, and then outputs them to the equipment through the inverter provided by the host. The battery mode is that the direct current (battery power) is output to the equipment through the inverter. This will provide good protection equipment.

4、 The functions and principles of inverter power supply and UPS power supply systems are basically the same, and they can achieve the following two functions:

1. Provide a way to adjust voltage changes, eliminate various electrical interference, and provide high-quality power supply;

2. In case of AC mains failure, necessary backup power supply capacity can be guaranteed. The biggest difference between the two is that the UPS needs to be equipped with a battery pack with a short backup time, while the inverter power supply does not need to be equipped with a battery. It can directly use the DC screens of various levels of voltage in the communication room with large capacity, which can ensure the uninterrupted operation of the network for a long time
